SUMMARY:Fall Invite Competition at Millard West High School
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to officially invite you and your students to the Fall Invite Competition at Millard West High School on Saturday\, October 25th! We can’t wait to kick off the DECA year by giving your students the chance to shine and put their skills into action in a real-world competition environment. \n📍 Event Details \n\nLocation: Millard West High School\, 5710 S. 176th Avenue\, Omaha\, NE 68135\nTime (Students & Advisors): 8:00 AM – approximately 3:00 PM\nTime (Judges): 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM\n\nTo help ensure a smooth event\, each chapter is responsible for providing 1 judge for every 10 students registered. Judges do not need prior experience — we will provide all training and materials on site the morning of the competition. If a chapter is unable to provide the required number of judges\, there will be a $50 fee payable to Millard West to help us cover the cost of recruiting additional judges. \n📎 Important Materials \n\nSignup Spreadsheet\nRegistration Information Form\nParent Permission/Release Form\nJudges Sign-Up Form\nChapter Invoice Form \n\nPlease share the judge sign-up link with your volunteers as soon as possible and encourage them to complete it promptly. \nFAQ’s: What is the registration and judge form submission deadline? \nRegistration: Recommend October 7th for your students (on the registration form) and then if you all could submit registration to us by October 10th we would appreciate it! No changes can be made after October 17th and payment should be received by this date from your chapter. \nJudge Form should be done by October 17th to hopefully give you enough time to get your required judge count. The form does say: The sooner the better! This will help us in planning this for the first time\, so we appreciate you working to get this done as fast as possible. This wouldn’t be possible without your judges! \nDon’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We are learning over here! \nWe will follow up with finalized schedules\, role-play assignments\, and detailed information the week before the competition.
