State Career Development Conference

DECA conferences are targeted, highly-focused learning experiences for students and advisors that support National Curriculum Standards and the development of 21st Century Skills. DECA conferences bring our members into the larger DECA community while providing unique opportunities to extend classroom learning. Each of DECA’s conferences connects with corporate professionals to engage students in learning industry-related trends and content.

2021 State Career Development Conference Information:

The 2021 State Career Development Conference (SCDC) will be moved to a virtual conference.  The 2021 SCDC website will be available on Monday, March 15, 2021.

Registration:

Conference registration is due Friday, February 26, 2021.

Dress Code:

Females

• Blazer/business suit with dress blouse or
• Skirt or dress slacks with dress blouse or dress sweater or
• Business dress and
• Closed-toe Dress shoes and stockings (no tennis shoes or flip-flop sandals)

Males

• Males Business suit with collared dress shirt and necktie or
• Sport coat/dress slacks, collared shirt and necktie and
• Dress shoes and socks (no tennis shoes or flip-flop sandals)

March 18 2pm-7pm: Individual Series and Team Decision Making Events

March 19 12pm-5pm: Individual Series and Team Decision Making Events

March 19 Grand awards ceremony, scholarship winners, and 2021-2022 State Officers announced
