Fall Leadership Conference

Overview
The membership year’s first event is usually the annual Fall Leadership Conference. Chapter officers and members come together to enhance their leadership skills and knowledge. Key workshops include enhancing creativity, developing a program of work, teamwork, and motivating others.

Registration & Cost
Registration link opens on September 3 and closes on September 23.
Cost per person is $45 and includes conference materials and lunch.
Each attendee must be a paid DECA member. In the Registration Link, you will upload two items: your official DECA, Inc. membership roster and a list of FLC attendees using this excel spreadsheet template.
Registration invoices will be emailed following the close of registration to the chapter advisor via Nebraska DECA’s QuickBooks account. Payments are due by October 9.

State Career Development Conference
March 18-19, 2027 | Cornhusker Marriott and Conference Center, Lincoln
Overview
Nebraska DECA’s premier event is the annual state conference. Each participant competes in a career interest competitive event. Also available are individual and team project events. Over 200 business people volunteer their time and expertise to judge the events. The excitement of state officer campaigns and elections, keynote speakers and multi-media presentations make this a highlight of most members’ high school careers.

Registration & Cost
Registration link opens January 11, 2027 and closes February 12, 2027. To register, visit https://decaregistration.com/NE
Cost per person is $75 and includes conference materials, a Nebraska SCDC T-shirt, the DECA dance, and all types of competitive event awards.
This payment is due by March 2nd to Grafton and Associates. Please DO NOT PAY from the registration site. Registration invoices will be emailed to the chapter advisor shortly after we receive your registration. The email will arrive via Nebraska DECA’s QuickBooks account. Please contact [email protected] if you would like the option to pay your QuickBooks invoice by credit card.
Required for upload during registration: Proctor & Chapter Conduct Forms
Each attendee must be a paid DECA member. Attendee information is pulled directly from the DECA membership website.

Packet will include details on scholarship donations, judge information, voting delegates, chapter photos, leadership on parade, prepared event details, competitive events for SCDC 2027, dress code, and more!
Lodging & Cost
$122 per room (2 double beds) per night or $156 per suite per night. These amounts do not include tax. Be sure to submit tax exempt form to the Cornhusker.
Hotel invoice and payment is due to Heather Long at The Cornhusker by March 2nd. She will receive your rooming lists sent through the registration site. If you have changes to your hotel needs, please contact [email protected] Hotel invoices will be generated automatically through the registration site. Print these out and include them with payment.
Please note: If we use all of the DECA-reserved hotel rooms at The Cornhusker, additional rooms are reserved at the nearby Graduate by Hilton Lincoln. We will contact you if your group will be staying at the Graduate.

International Career Development Conference
April 17-20, 2027 | Anaheim Convention Center: Anaheim, CA
Overview
The top two to three winners in each competitive event category at SCDC travel to compete against the best and brightest from all 50 states, U.S. territories, and Canada. This is the opportunity for the top DECA members to prove they are number ONE in their event. Over 10,000 members, advisors, and businesspeople attend each year in exciting cities such as Anaheim and Orlando.

Registration, Lodging, & Costs
Registration costs per person were $150 in 2026 and included conference fee, five Trading Pins, and one Nebraska ICDC T-shirt.
Lodging costs per room were $232 in 2026 and could be shared by up to four people.
Registration + Lodging link opens on March 20, 2027 and closes on March 23, 2027.
In the Registration + Lodging Link, you will use this Rooming List Template to create and upload your rooming list.
Registration invoices will be emailed following the close of registration to the chapter advisor via Nebraska DECA’s QuickBooks account. A partial payment is due March 30 and full payment is due by April 6.
